ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C367 ARCOT LANE CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C367 Arcot Lane Cramlington for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2025 until the 20th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th October 2025 until the 24th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A1068, A1172, A1171 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6546 ACORN AVENUE RUSSELL TERRACE HORTON AVENUE AND HOTSPUR AVENUE BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2025 until the 22nd March 2026.
Road Closures
U6546 Acorn Avenue for its enitre length.
U6546 Russell Terrace for its entire length.
U6546 Horton Avenue for its entire length.
U6546 Hotspur Avenue from 60 metres westwards of its junction with Church Lane heading westwards for a distance of 250 metres. It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 22nd September 2025 until the 26th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U6546, A193, A1068 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U9542 WAVERTON CLOSE WHERNSIDE PLACE FOOTWAY CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U9542 Waverton Close Whernside Place Footway from its junction with U9542 Waverton Close Westloch Road Footway heading north westwards for a distance of 31 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 17th October 2025.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Whernside Place, U9542 Waverton Close Whernside Place Footway, U9542 Waverton Close Windburgh Drive Footway, U9542 Waverton Close Westloch Road Footway and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C401 MILBURN ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C401 Milburn Road from its junction with Fifth Avenue heading southwards for a distance of 433 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 12th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C401, U6710, U6703, B1334 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B1331 RIDGE TERRACE AND NETHERTON ROAD BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 2 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Bedlington in the County of Northumberland.
Road Closures:
B1331 Netherton Road from its junction with Alnwick Drive heading eastwards for a distance of 305 metres. B1331 Ridge Terrace for its entire length.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th September 2025 until the 6th March 2026.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 6th September 2025 until the 18th October 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 nightly during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1331, A192, A1068 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U9521 NEWCASTLE ROAD BACK LANE, SEATON AVENUE HARTLEY TERRACE BACK LANE, HARTLEY TERRACE, SEATON AVENUE, CARLTON AVENUE AND U9523 DELAVAL CRESCENT BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in Blyth the County of Northumberland:- The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 19th December 2025.
• U 9523 Delaval Crescent, Blyth from its junction with Newcastle Road heading westwards for a distance of 21 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 12th September 2025 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th December 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Newcastle Road, Delaval Crescent and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
• U 9523 Delaval Crescent for its entire length.
• U 9521 Newcastle Road Back Lane from its southward junction with Newcastle Road heading eastwards and then northwards for a distance of 90 metres.
• U 9521 Seaton Avenue Hartley Terrace Back Lane for its entire length
• U 9521 Hartley Terrace for its entire length
• U 9521 Seaton Avenue for its entire length
• U 9521 Carlton Avenue for its entire length
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 10th September 2025 until the 5th November 2025 and that the roads will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th December 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

WANSBECK DISTRICT PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 17
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Wansbeck District Public Footpath Number 17, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Wansbeck District Public Footpath Number 17
From a point on the A196 road 30 metres north of the Rowing Club in a general south-westerly, easterly and south-easterly direction for a distance of 665 metres following the north bank of the River Wansbeck and passing under the North Seaton Viaduct to a point on the U6574 footway immediately south-west of Curlew Close.
There is no alternative route.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 10th October 2025.

The closure has been requested by United Living Infrastructure Services in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to install a new water main.

U9562 FOOTWAY FROM THIRSTON DRIVE OUTSIDE TELEPHONE EXCHANGE TO CYCLE TRACK, CRAMLINGTON
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Footway Closure:
The U9562 Footway from Thirston Drive Outside Telephone Exchange To Cycle Track from it’s eastwards junction with the U9562 Footway from no. 6 Tangmere Close to Northumbrian Road heading southwards for a distance of 10 metres in the County of Northumberland (“the Footway”) is prohibited to traffic as works are continuing following a leak on the main which requires repair.
The alternative route for traffic is via the U9562 Footway from no. 6 Tangmere Close to Northumbrian Road, the U9562 Footway from Thirston Drive Outside Telephone Exchange to Cycle Track and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
