Anlaby Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Inspection Works

What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

ANLABY ROAD (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Anlaby Road, underneath the Flyover, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during inspection works to approach spans (arches) of Anlaby Road flyover.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

The Order will take effect on 23rd September 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9am and 3.30pm on 23rd September 2025.
