The Haringey (Charged-for Parking Places) (Amendment No.31) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 19th August 2025 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders: (i) To introduce new Cycle parking (storage) facilities, measuring a width of 2 metres and a length of 2.5 metres at the locations listed below, Where applicable, 3 metres of underlying parking restrictions will be revoked.

(ii) To make map-based changes on the following roads to ensure the Council’s internal map based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):

(a) On Nightingale Road:

  • a. shorten the Permit Bay opposite No. 132 to become 5 metres in length; and

  • b. shorten the Single Yellow Line opposite Nos. 134-126 to become 6.6 metres in length; and

    (b) On North Hill:

  • a. extend the Single Yellow Line outside Bramalea Close 4.5 metres north-westward;

  • b. shorten and relocate the Double Yellow Line adjacent to the flank wall of No. 1 Bramalea Close to be 1.5 metres in length; and

  • c. shorten the Electric Bay by 1.5 metres.

    (c) On Oak Lane N11: Double Yellow Lines on southeast side at junction with Maidstone Road extended north-westward by 3.7 metres.

    (d) On Finsbury Road N22: Extend the double yellow lines outside No.86 south by 2.8 metres.

Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 17th September 2025.

Further details: an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, or can be viewed online at https://streets.appyway.com/haringey once operational.

Application to the High Court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and may do so on that of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
