 Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Lyndon Road, Belvedere

Notice of Intention

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to undertake Utility Mains Replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic on Lyndon Road, Belvedere – entire road

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Lyndon Road, Belvedere – entire length of road, on both sides of the carriageway.

The Order will come into effect on 9 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 62 days.

Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

Ambrook Road, Sheridan Road, Picardy Street, Picardy Road, and reverse.

Picardy Road, Upper Abbey Road, Gertrude Road, Ambrook Road and reverse.

  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Intention

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable JDT Utilities Limited on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic on Braundton Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup 30m into the junction.

  • Prohibition of traffic on Woodlands Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup 30m into the junction.

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Braundton Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street for 30m into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

  • Waiting restrictions and Loading prohibition in Woodlands Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street for 30m into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

  • Waiting restrictions and Loading prohibition on Valliers Wood Road, Sidcup at the junction with Halfway Street for 30m into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

Restrictions to be removed when not required.

The Order will come into effect on 8 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

Braundton Avenue,

Woodlands Avenue,

Adelaide Road, Willersley Avenue, Halfway Street, and reverse.

Annandale Road, Windham Avenue, Halfway Street, and reverse.

Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic on Chestnut Drive, Bexleyheath entire length of the road.

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Chestnut Drive, Bexleyheath entire length of the road, both sides of the carriageway.

Restrictions will be removed when not required.

The Order will come into effect on 2 September 2025 and is valid for 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Avenue Road, Cracol Loo, Brampton Road, and reverse.

Avenue Road, Basil Road, Pickford Lane and Brampton Road and reverse.

Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Making an Order

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable gas mains replacement works by JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Glynde Road at the junction with Avenue Road, Bexleyheath

  • No through movement from Avenue Road preventing ingress and egress to Glynde Road, Bexleyheath

  • No turning movement from Avenue Road preventing ingress and egress to Chestnut Drive, Bexleyheath

No waiting or loading as detailed in schedule one of this order

The Order will come into effect on 2 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Avenue Road, Basilon Road, Brampton Road and reverse.

Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

Notice of Making an Order

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable compound area for works on the A2 by TION on behalf of Transport for London, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Waiting and loading restrictions in Lakeside Close at the junction with the Danson Road roundabout

  • Prohibition of traffic (road closed) in Lakeside Close at the junction with Danson Road roundabout

Restrictions will be removed when not required.

The Order will come into effect on 28 August 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 months.

Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) on Crombie Road from 30 meters in up to and including the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup

  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) on Wyncam Avenue from 30 meters in up to and including the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup

No waiting/no loading as detailed in schedule one of this order

The Order will come into effect on 1 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.

Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

  • Diversions for Crombie Road closure:

    Old Farm Avenue, Ellison Road, Halfway Street and Reverse

    Halfway Street, Avery Hill Road, Cradley Road, Old Farm Avenue and Reverse

  • Diversions for Wyncam Avenue closure:

    Annandale Road, Braundton Avenue, Halfway Street and Reverse

    Halfway Street, Days Lane, Annandale Road and Reverse

Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
