What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Kittiwake Drive, Brierley Hill) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Kittiwake Drive, Brierley Hill, for the purpose of gas mains repairs being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on
15.09.2025 and will remain in force until 13.10.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18months. Traffic will be diverted via: Shearwater Drive, Nuthatch Drive, Stamford Road, Waterfall Road, Bagley Street, Caledonia, Woods Lane, and vice versa. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Suspension of On Street Parking Spaces) (Market Street, Stourbridge) Order 2025 the effect of which is the temporary suspension of on street parking spaces created by The Borough Council of Dudley (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places, Disabled Residents Parking Places and No Stopping on School Entrance Markings) (Consolidation 2.0) Order 2021, as applies to Market Street, Stourbridge, opposite 8 – 12, for the purpose of a repair and install of a new gas connection being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 18.09.2025 and will remain in force until 24.09.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion is required.
