A332, Ascot - Temporary Road Closure due to Highway Maintenance Works

ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) A332 Swinley Road, Ascot in both directions between the junctions of A322 Bracknell Road and A329 London Road, Ascot.
b) A322 Kings Ride, Ascot in both directions between the junctions of A322 Swinley Road and Kingswood.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A329 London Road, B3430 New Forest Ride, A322 Bagshot Road, A332 Swinley Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while works are completed to repair and carry out maintenance works on the highway.
The Order came into operation on the 16th September 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, It is currently planned that the closure will be in place between 20:00 16th September 2025 – 06:00 17th September 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
