Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401454 Road from Theescombe Hill to Beaudesert Park School, Amberley from outside the School Entrance to the School Safety Road Sign for a distance of approximately 90 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works in relation to the refurbishment of Beaudesert Park School roof.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures is for works on highway works on behalf of Ringway.

There will be no waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 1st September 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This Order may permit the closures to be in effect at the same time, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all of the said works will be completed by 31st March 2026.

This Order can close the road for up to 18 months from the date of commencement if necessary.
