NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Church Street C179, Gamlingay Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1467

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Church Street C179, Gamlingay as lies between Nos.32 & 34. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1040; Honey Hill; Stocks Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate refrigeration deliveries, other equipment & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 24/11/25.

Oilmills Road, Ramsey Mereside Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1491

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Oilmills Road, Ramsey Mereside as lies between No.348 & Marriots Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Bodsey Toll Rd, Ramsey; Muchwood Ln; Stocking Fen Rd; B1040; Oilmills Rd, Pondersbridge & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 3/9/25.

Station Road & Long Drove, Holme Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1497

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road & Long Drove, Holme as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via B660; B1043; A15; A1260; A1139; A605; B1095; B1040 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 7/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23:00hrs & 06:00hrs 7/9 to 8/9/25.

High Street, Sawtry Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1506

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Sawtry as lies between Nos.1 & 3. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St; Fen Ln; Bill Hall Wy; Green End Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sluice valve replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 9/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 8/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 8/9 & 10/10/25.

West Street B1043, Godmanchester Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1525

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along West Street B1043, Godmanchester as lies between No.33 & Berry Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via B143; The Causeway; B1044; A1198; B1040; A428; A1198 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new electric connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 29/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 29/9 & 31/10/25.

Station Lane, Offord Cluny Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1531

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Lane, Offord Cluny as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1043; The Causeway, Godmanchester; B1044; A1307; B1514; A1; High St, Buckden; Church St; Mill Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 14/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 13/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23:00hrs & 06:00hrs 14/9 to 15/9/25.

Station Road, Tilbrook Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1532

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Tilbrook as lies between No.44 & The Croft. The alternative route for vehicles is via Station Rd; B660; B645 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate boundary box replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 15/9 & 17/9/25.

Parkhall Road, Somersham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1538

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Parkhall Road, Somersham as lies between Aredale Farm & Evelyn Cottage. The alternative route for vehicles is via Short Drove; Long Drove; B1050; B1086; Parkhall Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications duct laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/9/2025 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 3/10 & 16/10/25.

Parkhall Road, Somersham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1540

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Parkhall Road, Somersham as lies between Aredale Farm & Warners Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Short Drove; Long Drove; B1050; B1086; Parkhall Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate disconnection of water supply & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 23/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 22/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23/9 & 25/9/25.

Spittals Way A141, The Stukeleys Temporary No Right Turn Onto A141 Southbound From Spittal End – Order 2025-1545

Is to stop any vehicle from turning right from Spittals Way A141, The Stukeleys onto A141 southbound. The Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works & to impose a 30mph speed limit along Spittals Way A141 as lies between its junction with Stonehill & Stukeley Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via A141 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate central island installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 14/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 13/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 14/9 & 26/9/25.

Whytefield Road, Ramsey Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1568

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Whytefield Road, Ramsey as lies between Station Road & School Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via Blenheim Rd; Field Rd; B1040 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate repairs to water main leak & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 2/9/25.

Short Drove, Somersham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1568

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Short Drove, Somersham as lies between Brentwood Farm & Park Hall Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Parkhall Rd; B1086; B1050; Long Drove & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 17/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 16/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 17/9 & 19/9/25.

Various Roads, West Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1378

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises on / and adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate lining & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Schedule 1 – Road Closures

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises on / and adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate lining & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Schedule 1 – Road Closures

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1.

The prohibition is required for safety reasons to facilitate carriageway surface treatment & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 & will continue until the works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
