High Church Wynd, Yarm - Proposed Designated Parking Bays for on-street Parking

What is happening?

THE BOROUGH OF STOCKTON-ON-TEES HIGH CHURCH WYND, YARM TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act. 

The Order will have the effect of revoking part of the no waiting restrictions and implementing new designated on street parking bays along the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 at any time.

Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the affected lengths of road and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees during normal office hours and on the Council's website (Traffic Orders). 

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to writing to Network and Traffic Team Leader, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Dunedin House, Columbia Drive, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6BJ or HTD@Stockton.gov.uk by 22nd September 2025.

SCHEDULE 1 - Proposed Designated Parking Bays for On-Street Parking - Mon to Sat 9am - 5pm. Maximum stay one hour. No return within two hours or Permit Holders for Parking Zone B High Church Wynd, Yarm (South Side) - from a point east of the viaduct, extending westwards for a distance of 16 metres to the junction with West Street.
