C24 Blackhill – Lintrathen - Temporary Prohibition of Waiting & Loading
What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 25 August 2025, Angus Council made The Angus Council (C24 Blackhill – Lintrathen) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that works on behalf of Scottish Water may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 01 September 2025, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of twenty weeks. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on the Blackhill to Lintrathen (C24) road from a point 140m southwest of its junction with the Cothelhill to Lintrathen (B951 - C24) road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 500m or thereby. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is eastbound via the Cothelhill to Lintrathen (B951 - C24), Kirriemuir to Glenisla (B951), Kirriemuir to Clova (B955), Blairgowrie to Kirriemuir (A926), Alyth to Glenisla (B954) and Blackhill to Lintrathen (C24) roads.
