Sarson Lane, Temporary Road Closures Due To Chamber and Network Works
What is happening?
HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
Temporary Road Closures - Sarson Lane, Amport, Test Valley
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. Sarson Lane between its junction with Amesbury Road and its junction with A303 Thruxton to Weyhill.
2. Sarson Lane between its junction with A303 Thruxton to Weyhill and its junction with The Limes.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1. Amesbury Road, A342, A303
2. Monxton Road, Wiremead Lane, A303
DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 7 nights, working between the hours 19:00 - 06:00).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for OCU Group to carry out chamber survey and test rod/rope through existing network. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: BDUKHampshireStreetworks@ocugroup.com, OCU Group will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
