STOPPING, WAITING, LOADING AND

UNLOADING AND ON-STREET PARKING

SEDGEMOOR ORDER 2012

(AMENDMENT NO. 35) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that on Friday 22nd day of August 2025 Somerset Council made the above order in pursuance of the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised in the Bridgwater Mercury on the 18th day of February 2025 and in the Mid Somerset Series on the 20th day of February 2025 for Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Unloading and On-Street Parking on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, with the exception of the following:–

Catcott – Brook Lane, Manor Road and

Dial House Lane

Stawell – Stawell Road and Ford Lane

Mark – The extents have been amended for

Kingsway, B3139 Church Street

The Order comes into effect on the 28th day of August 2025.

. If you are unable to access, please contact 0300 123 2224. If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
