Bridgwater, Temporary Footway Closure Due To Duct Laying Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bridgwater Temporary Closure of Footway Between Rhode Lane And Daws Close
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding along Footway Between Rhode Lane And Daws Close - from outside property number 229 to outside property number 243 Rhode Lane. A total distance of 49 metres. This Order will enable Dunmore SW to lay new duct on behalf of Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 9th September 2025 and will remain in force for 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th September 2025 and last until 17th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
