What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)(a) (AS AMENDED) 

DODWORTH BRIDLEWAY 31
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
An order will be made to close a section of Dodworth bridleway 31 between Smithy Wood Lane and Dodworth bridleway 25, the Trans Pennine Trail. This Order which has a maximum duration of up to six months shall come into operation on 8 September 2025. The closure will be in place for approx. 3 weeks.
Reason: Underground high voltage cable and drainage works

WORSBROUGH FOOTPATH 38
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Secretary of State has authorised a further 6 month extension of the above named order to close Worsbrough public footpath no.38 from A61 Sheffield Road to its junction with Worsbrough Road. The extension comes into effect on 26 August 2025.
Reason: Drainage/effluent issues
