An order has been made to close the below roads, from 5 September 2025 for approximately two days.
Bromley Carr Road from Spout House Lane to house number 1

An order has been made to introduce a temporary one-way restriction on Huddersfield Road allowing traffic to travel from Barnsley Road to Halifax Road only, on 31st August 2025 for approximately one day.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
An order will be made to introduce the below restrictions:
Closure of Rotherham Road, Cundy Cross between Jacques Place and Grange Lane. The closures will be implemented on 14 September 2025 for approximately one day and further dates on an intermittent basis from 14 September for approximately 4 months. The restrictions will be removed when works are not taking place. An alternative route is available via Pontefract Road/Harborough Hill Road/Old Mill Lane/Wakefield Road/Rotherham Road.
A no stopping/waiting restriction on Rotherham Road, Cundy Cross between no. 2 Rotherham Road and no. 32 Rotherham Road Closure of Grange Lane, Cundy Cross between Abbey Lane and Rotherham Road on 7 September 2025 for approximately one day and further dates on an intermittent basis from 14 September for approximately 4 months. An alternative route is available via Stairfoot roundabout/Doncaster Road/Taylor Row/Alhambra Roundabout/ Harborough Hill Road/Pontefract Road. The restrictions will be in place from 7 September 2025 for approximately 4 months. The above restrictions are in addition to the other Cundy Cross restrictions already advised. Reason: Junction remodelling
