Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Tower Park, Fowey from junction with Gallants Drive and junction with Readymoney Road.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order The County of Cornwall (Fowey) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 (Class III) The Esplanade, Tower Park from junction with Readymoney Road to junction with Daglands Road.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because gas mains replacement works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 6th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Fore Street, Polperro) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Polperro. This prohibition is necessary for new electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 22nd September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Fore Street, Polperro between property known as Nanny Ducks Cornish Kitchen and the junction with Big Green.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Brunel View To Junction North East Of Glamorgan Mill, Lower Metherell, Callington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Callington. This prohibition is necessary for new manhole construction works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 to 10th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Brunel View To Junction North East Of Glamorgan Mill, Lower Metherell, Callington between properties known as Clarkes Hall And Premises and Chapel House.

The County of Cornwall (Road From North Wilcove To Junction South Of Coombe Park, Wilcove) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wilcove. This prohibition is necessary for rechargeable Fire Brigade works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 17th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From North Wilcove To Junction South Of Coombe Park, Wilcove between properties known as Orchard Cottage and Rose Cottage.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Hessenford. This prohibition is necessary for tree felling and wall repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2025 to 20th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Church Hill, Hessenford between property known as Guilder Cottage and the junction with Bake Lane.

The County of Cornwall (North Road, West Looe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in West Looe. This prohibition is necessary for telecom works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd October 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - North Road, West Looe between property known as Gwel An Porth and the junction with Darloe Lane.
