A164 Jocks Lodge - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Enable the Proposed Works on the Jocks Lodge Scheme

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL A164 Jocks Lodge (part) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along the A164 Jocks Lodge (approximately 710m North of Dunflat Road junction including A1079 slips roads).(Please note traffic will be running on the newly constructed road instead) The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed works on the Jocks Lodge scheme, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time. (There is no diversion as traffic will be running on the newly constructed road) The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for the emergency services. 

The Order will commence on Thursday 11 September 2025 until 15 September 2026 (between 00:01 hrs until 00:01hrs) and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
