ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
PODINGTON ROAD, WYMINGTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Podington Road, Wymington railway bridge.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate bridge inspection and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:00 to 15:00 hours 9th September 2025 The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Podington Road, High Street, Wymington Lane, Bedford Road, Rushden Road, Mill Road, Kennell Hill, Church Lane, Odell Road, Dungee Road, Harrold Road, Hinwick Road, Bozeat Road, Village Street, Wymington Road.
The reverse route applies.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 9th September 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. CLYDE CRESCENT, BEDFORD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Clyde Crescent, Bedford. This temporary road closure is required to facilitate a new water supply and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:00 to 17:00 hours from 9th September 2025 to 11th September 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Bourneside, Brickhill Footpath 27, Humber Avenue, Clyde Crescent.
The reverse route applies.
