Aldwyck Way, Lowestoft - Temporary Road Closure due to Gas Mains Replacement
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U9024 ALDWYCK WAY, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U9024 Aldwyck Way, Lowestoft from the junction with Long Road for 50 metres eastbound to facilitate a gas mains replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Long Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/08/2025 - 08/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
