What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994

PROPHET MUHAMMAD WALK 2025

The Council will make an order, operative between the hours of 1.45pm and 3.15pm on Sunday 7 September 2025 to enable the Prophet Muhammad Walk to safely take place. All vehicles not engaged in the event will be prohibited from proceeding on various streets between Bella Street and Northolt Drive. Full route available on our website.

The Parade will operate under a rolling roadblock with streets opened to traffic once the parade has passed.

The order will cease to have effect at 3.15pm on the above date, or on completion of the event whichever first occurs.
