(Littlehampton and Rustington: 10k Run)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close the following roads in Littlehampton throughout their entire lengths unless otherwise stated: Sea Lane/Sea Road/South Terrace (B2140) from the junction of Sea Lane with Hobbs Way, southwards and westwards to the junction of South Terrace with Pier Road, Pier Road from South Terrace, to Clifton Road, St Catherines Road, Beach Road from Maltravers road to South Terrace, Irvine Road from Beach Road to St Augustines Road, St Augustines Road, Selbourne Road from St Augustines Road to Beach Road, Fitzalan Road from South Terrace to Maltravers Road, Maltravers Drive, St Winefrides Road from Maltravers Drive to South Terrace, Hendon Avenue, Harsfold Road, Holmes Lane from Harsfold Road to Sea Lane.

The closure of these roads is needed to allow the Littlehampton 10k running event to take place in safely.

The Order will come into effect on 31 August 2025 from 8 am to 1pm.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be managed by marshals on site. (Worthing: Downview Road)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Downview Road in Worthing from the northern kerbline of Mill Road, northwards for 10m and from the southern kerbline of Mill Road, southwards for 10m. The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 15 September 2025 and remain in force until 19 October 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Worthing: Valencia Road)

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Valencia Road in Worthing from its junction with Tarring Road, southwards for 5m.

While this restriction is in place the one-way traffic restriction on Valencia Road will be suspended to maintain access. Short lengths of parking bays in Valencia Road will also be suspended to provide places for vehicles travelling in opposite directions to pass each other.

These restrictions are needed to allow a highway improvement scheme to be installed safely.

The Order will come into effect on 15 September 2025 and remain in force until 5 December 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Findon: Various Roads) (Findon Sheep Fair)

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to permit temporarily management measures to be installed while the Findon Sheep Fair takes place, as follows:

To introduce temporary one-way traffic restrictions on, Cross Lane (southwards only) High Street (southbound only) Horsham Road (northbound only) and Nepcote Lane (southbound only) and;

To temporarily prohibit waiting at any time on the following roads on lengths indicated by local signage: Cross Lane, Convent Gardens, High Street, Horsham Road, Nepcote Lane, Soldiers Field Lane.

These restrictions are needed to manage traffic safely during the Findon Sheep Fair.

The Order will come into effect on 13 September 2025 only and is expected to be in operation between 0730 and 1730. During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site and traffic managed by marshals. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
