What is happening?

NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL

ABBOTSFORD COURT,

CUMBERNAULD (TEMPORARY

PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENT)

ORDER 2025

On 18 August 2025 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to proceed on foot (with the exception of people engaged on reconstruction of footpaths with Winterpave) on Abbotsford Court, Cumbernauld from Abbotsford Road to Woodlands Primary School by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes: There are no alternative routes.

Pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties during the closure.

The Order, will come into operation at 0600 hours on Monday,

1 September 2025 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 10 October 2025.
