ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF WOODPECKER CLOSE ASTON SHEFFIELD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order
the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Woodpecker Close from a point approximately 15m northeast of its junction with Finch Close, for a distance of approximately 65m in a north easterly direction from Monday 1st. September until Monday 15th September 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas main replacement).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Temple Road from 10pm on Sunday 31st. August until 4am on Monday 1st. September 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A6178 Sheffield Road, A6178 Sheffield Road Ickles Way Roundabout, Bessemer Way, Magna Way and Temple Road.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunications maintenance works).

PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.1 HERRINGTHORPE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.1 Herringthorpe commencing from a point at Grid Reference SK 4473 9437 and proceeding in a south westerly direction for a distance of 135m to a point at Grid Reference SK 4460 9430 from Monday 1st. September until Monday 13th. October 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order will be via footways parallel to the definitive route.
Reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be
executed on or near the footpath (modifications on the existing sewage pipeline).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Hounsfield Road between the northern kerb line of Favell Road to the southern kerb line of the most northerly junction of Hounsfield Crescent from Thursday 4th. September until Wednesday 10th. September 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Hawksworth Road, Laudsdale Road, Ridgeway and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Electrical works).

the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Halsbury Road from its junction with A630 Fitzwilliam Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction from Saturday 30th. August until Tuesday 2nd. September 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the
Order will be via Fitzwilliam Road, St Johns Road, Finlay Road, Haldane Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (closed at night for works on A630 Fitzwilliam Road).

CANKLOW ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The prohibition from proceeding along A630 Centenary Way specified in item (i) of the schedule will be from Monday 8th. September until Friday 12th. September 2025 between 8pm and 6am each day. The prohibition from proceeding along A630 Centenary Way specified in item (ii) of the schedule will be from Saturday 13th. September until Monday 15th. September 2025 between 8pm and 6am each day.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
SCHEDULE
(i) A630 Centenary Way (northbound) from its junction with Ickles Roundabout to its junction with Armer Street (the alternative route will be via A6178 Sheffield Road, A631 Bawtry Road, M1 J34 South Roundabout, lower deck Tinsley viaduct, A631 Bawtry Road, M1 J34 North Roundabout, A6109

above).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Union Street between its junction with Northlands and its junction with Thorpe Road from 8am on Sunday 7th. September until 8pm on Monday 8th. September 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the
Order will be via Hard Lane, Station Road, Wales Road, The Square, School Road, Mansfield Road, Rotherham Road, Woodall Road, Killamarsh Lane, Woodall Lane, Union Street and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (new water connection).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice at intervals between Monday 1st. September and Friday 26th. September 2025.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Installation of new Gas Connections).
SCHEDULE
(i) Erskine Road from its junction with St Anns Road for a distance of 50m in an easternly direction (the alternative route will be via St. Anns Road, A630
Fitzwilliam Road, Milton Road, Hatherley Road and vice versa).
(ii) Effingham Street from its junction with St Anns Road for a distance of 50m in a south westerly direction for traffic exiting onto St Anns Road only. Access will be allowed in from St Anns Road (the alternative route will be via Kenneth
Street, A630 Centenary Way, St Anns Road).

PARTS OF A633 ROTHERHAM ROAD PARKGATE AND

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TURNING MANOEUVRES)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from carrying out the turning manoeuvres specified in items (i) and (ii) of the Schedule to this notice and to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Rawmarsh Road specified in item (iii) of the Schedule to this notice from Monday 8th September until Friday 25th September 2025.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (To facilitate traffic management arrangements on St Anns Road, Eastwood for Gas Main Replacement works).
SCHEDULE
(i) To prohibit any vehicle travelling north on A633 Rotherham Road from turning east onto Stonerow Way (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road in a northerly direction, “U” turn at A633 Rotherham Road Roundabout, A633 Rotherham Road in a southerly direction and Stonerow Way).
(ii) To prohibit any vehicle travelling south on A633 Rotherham Road from turning west onto Forge Way (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road in a southerly direction, “U” turn at A633 Grafton Bridge Roundabout, A633 Rotherham Road in a northerly direction and Forge Way).
(iii) To prohibit any vehicle travelling along Rawmarsh Road (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road, U turn at A633 Rotherham Road
Roundabout, A633 Rotherham Road, Grafton Street Roundabout, St Anns
Road, St Anns Roundabout, A630 Centenary Way, A630 College Road
Roundabout, A6123 Greasbrough Street, A6123 Greasbrough Street, A6021
Drummond Street and vice versa).
