Holborn Hill, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U4141, HOLBORN HILL, MILLOM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along that section of the U4141, Holborn Hill, Millom from its junction with Pannatt Hill to its junction with Kingsland Road.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the U4141 Holborn Hill, Moor Road and A5093.

The Order will come into operation on 12 September 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day between 0800 and 2300 hours, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
