ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U6109 CASTLE CLOSE HIGHCHURCH MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6109 Castle Close High Church Morpeth for its entirety in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2025 until the 22nd March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd September 2025 until the 13th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until the 22nd March 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C76 HOCKETWELL TO CRASTER JUNCTION CRASTER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C76 Hocketwell to Craster Junction from 484 metres southwest of its junction with the B1339, continuing southwest for a distance of 50 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th September 2025 until the 21st September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th September 2025 until the 21st September 2025 between 23:00 hours and 08:30 hours during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1339, U3015, B1340 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM Ltd to lift out level crossing to allow tamper to work through.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
B6345 EAST THIRSTON TO ACKLINGTON, ACKLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6345 East Thirston to Acklington from its junction with the entrance and exit to the Railway Inn heading in a northerly direction for a length of 64 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th September 2025 until the 14th March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period;however, the order will remain in place until 14th March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6345, U3040, C102 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U9083 MEADOWVALE PONTELAND
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9083 Meadowvale Ponteland from its junction with Western Way to its point at the front of number 24 Meadowvale in a westerly then northerly direction and to its point outside number 8 Meadowvale in a southerly then easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th September 2025 until the 15th March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th September 2025 until the 16th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 15th March 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

C172 GREENSIDE BANK TO HARBOTTLE THROPTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C172
Greenside Bank To Harbottle from its junction with U4020 Sharperton Village, Sharperton heading in a eastwards direction for a distance of 694 metres
in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 2nd September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30 during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C172, C180, B6341 and vice versa and should the need arise changes
may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals Limited for cabling works on behalf of Openreach.

U3136 ST LAWRENCE AVENUE AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3136
St Lawrence Avenue Amble from its junction with Kennedy Road heading in a northerly direction for a length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 26th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being St Lawrence Avenue, Leslie Drive, Ivy Street and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of Northern Powergrid to excavate for an electrical connection. In order to minimise future

B6341 BILSMOOR TO THROPTON SHARPERTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6341
Bilsmoor to Thropton Sharperton from its junction with C195 District Boundary to Rugley Walls Junction heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 1426 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 2nd September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6341, A696, C195, B6342 and vice versa and should the need arise
changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
