ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(ARNCLIFFE CRESCENT/BURNSALL ROAD/ WENSLEY GROVE, RASTRICK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Seddon Construction Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of:

Malham Road Footpath No.2 to side of No. 105 Burnsall Road
Burnsall Road Footpath No. 2 to side of No. 112 Burnsall Road
Burnsall Road Footpath No.3 next to No. 95 Arncliffe Crescent
Wensley Grove Footpath rear of No. 26 Arncliffe Crescent, side of No.28 Arncliffe Crescent, adjacent to No. 14 - 16 Wensley Grove, side of 22 -29 Wensley Grove These closures will be as and when required for a total distance of approximately 222 metres.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpaths. Access to/from front entrances to Sherburn Road/Arncliffe Crescent/Burnsall Road/Malham Road are unaffected. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st December 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BURNSALL ROAD, RASTRICK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Express Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Burnsall Road from No. 12 to No. 18 for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Sherburn Road, Highfields Road, Bedale Avenue. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(FERGUSON STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ferguson Street from side of No.6 Carlton Street to No. 9 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Carlton Street, Bull Close Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HAUGH END LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Haugh End Lane from Lower Brockwell Lane to No. 32 for a distance of approximately 260 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Haugh End Lane, Quarry Hill, Sowerby Street, Foundry Street, West Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HEIGHT ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Height Road from 50m from junction with Hey Head to entrance road to Old Castle Farm for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Height Road, Wadsworth Lane, Birchcliffe Road, Commercial Street, Burnley Road, Midgley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(LOWER BROCKWELL LANE, TRIANGLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lower Brockwell Lane from its junction with Rochdale Road to Haugh End Lane for a distance of approximately 420 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Rochdale Road, West Street, Foundry Street, Sowerby Street, Quarry Hill, Haugh End Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and remain in force for a≈maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THORNHILLS BECK LANE, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhills Beck Lane from its junction with Jay House Lane to Railway Bridge for a distance of approximately 426 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Jay House Lane, A643 Highmoor Lane, Clifton Common and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(A646 HALIFAX ROAD, CHARLESTOWN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A646 Halifax Road from its junction with Underbank Avenue to Stony Lane for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. Local diversion route is via A6033, A58, A6139 and vice versa. HGV diversion route is via Rochdale Road (A664), A6193, M62(junction 21), M62(junction 24), Huddersfield Road (A629), Calderdale Way (A629), A646 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 23:30 & 05:30.

(CLARE ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Clare Road from No. 5 to New Road for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Clare Road, Prescott Street, Union Street South, New Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(KELL LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Kell Lane from its junction with Hough/Bradford Road to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A6036 Bradford Road, Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road, Hud Hill, Score Hill, Lands Head Lane, Cave Hill, Brow Lane, and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 18th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(MILL BANK ROAD, TRIANGLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Mill Bank Road from its junction with Birks Lane to rear of Valley Rise for a distance of approximately 95 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is unaffected part of Mill Bank Road, Oak Lane, A58 Rochdale Road, A58 Halifax Road, Royd Lane, Cross Wells Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, Lighthazles Road, Clay Pit Lane, Salt Drake, Lumb Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(NATHAN LANE, MILL BANK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Nathan Lane from its junction with Lower Mill Bank Roadto No. 2 Nathan’s Folly for a distance of approximately 95 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Lower Mill Bank Road, unaffected part of Nathan Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PER LANE, OGDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by ADP Environmental Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Per Lane from No. 11 to No. 15 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Per Lane, Field Head Lane, Keighley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(QUEENS ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Queens Road outside No. 252 for a distance of approximately 3 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Hanson Lane, Thurm Hall Lane, Gibbet Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TOWNGATE, NORTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Towngate from No. 27 to No. 29 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Hough, Kell Lane, A6036 Bradford Road, Lydgate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th September 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PEAR STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Pear Street from its junction with Parkinson Lane to No. 92 for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Parkinson Lane, Essex Street, Hopwood Lane, unaffected part of Pear Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(FORE LANE AVENUE, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Fore Lane Avenue from its junction with Sowerby New Road to No.83 for a distance of approximately 43 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Quarry Hill, Fore Lane, St Peter’s Avenue Stocks Lane, Sowerby New Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(SKIRCOAT MOOR ROAD/FREE SCHOOL LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Skircoat Moor Road from outside Fire Station to 27m into Free School Lane for a distance of approximately 141 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Rochdale Road, Wakefield Road, Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Huddersfield Road, Dryclough Lane, unaffected part of Skircoat Moor Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 06:00.

(ST JOHNS LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of St Johns Lane from its junction with Portland Place to Coleridge Street for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via A629, Skircoat Road, Shaw Hill, Clare Road, Coleridge Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
