What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(JOCK’S LODGE (LONDON ROAD))
(TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2025 - TEMP/25/120

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for development works, no person shall except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of Jock’s Lodge (London Rd), north side, from the extended west kerbline of Restalrig Rd South, westwards for 88.5m. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described. The Order shall have effect from 01/09/25 to 23/12/27. The City of Edinburgh Council is satisfied that the execution of the works referred to in this Order will take in excess of eighteen months.
