Traffic Order
THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION
AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC)
(VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_ - TO/R5.3.151
The Council proposes to make an Order to make permanent the double
yellow line restrictions which are already in place on Easthouses Road,
Easthouses near the Primary School through Temporary Traffic Orders.

midlothian.gov.uk.
Anyone wishing to object to this proposal should send details of their
grounds of objection in writing, quoting the Reference shown, to: The Legal

SPEED LIMIT) (VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_ - TO/R5.3.144
The Council proposes to create a 30 mph speed limit zone on the A6106
approach to Dalkeith from the west. Details may be examined from 28 August to 19 September 2025 at Libraries, at TellMeScotland@gov.uk

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION
AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC)
(VARIATION NO 15) ORDER 2025 - TO/R5.3.132
Midlothian Council on 25 August 2025 made the above Order, which will
come into force on 8 September 2025. The effect is to apply double yellow
line restrictions on a section of Polton Road in Loanhead. Details may be
examined until 6 October 2025 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, at Libraries
and from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of such Act or of any relevant regulation has not been complied with, may within six weeks from 25 August 2025 apply for this purpose to the Court of Session.
