East Devon, Temporary Road Closure Due To Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction) - (Road From Butts Road To Gosford Road All The Way Up North East To Road Through Alfington (B3177), Ottery St Mary & Alfington) - Order 2025 - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 26/8/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 1/9/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected:
Road from Butts Road to Gosford Road all the way up north east to road through Alfington (B3177), Ottery St Mary & Alfington.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - B3177, B3174, road from the Old Devon Smithy to Staightway Head to Birdcage Bridge, Birdcage Lane, road through Fairmile, B3177, & vice versa.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Devon Highways - Patching works.
