NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Cambridge Road A10, Foxton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1484
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cambridge Road A10, Foxton as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via A10; A1309; A1301; A505, A10 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 00:01hrs & 05:30hrs 20/9 to 22/9/25.

Coldhams Lane, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1485
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Coldhams Lane, Cambridge as lies between No’s. 509 & 524. The alternative route for vehicles is via Coldhams Ln; Queens Meadow; High St C233; Cherry Hinton Rd; Cherry Hinton Rd C235; A1134 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gully & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 12/9/25.

Station Road, Foxton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1486
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Foxton as lies between No. 10 & High Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St, Shepreth Rd, A10 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/3/27 whichever is the earlier. 
It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/9 & 24/09/25.

Ely Road A10, Landbeach Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1489
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate S278 bridge construction & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5/9/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 4/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Schedule 1 – Road Closures 

Ely Road A10, Landbeach & Denny End Road, Waterbeach Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1490
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Ely Road A10, Landbeach & Denny End Road, Waterbeach as lies between Denny Road (south side of junction) to approximately 250 metres north. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate S278 bridge construction & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 5/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 4/3/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 5/9 & 22/9/25.

Beaufort Place To Riverside Walkway, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1495
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Beaufort Place to Riverside Walkway, Cambridge as lies between Quayside & La Mimosa. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate graffiti cleaning, power washing, general maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/2025 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 30/9/2025.

Rose Lane, Melbourn Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 25-1496
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Rose Lane, Melbourn as lies between High Street & Cross Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St, Station Rd, Dolphin Ln, Rose Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 3/9/25.

John Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Temporary Revocation Of One-Way Traffic Order – Order 2025-1499
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along John Street, Cambridge as lies between No.7 & Adam & Eve Street. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993. Schedule 6. John Street (from its junction with City Road to its junction with Adam & Eve Street – From west to east is hereby suspended insofar as it affects John Street as lies between its junctions with Adam & Eve Street & City Road. 
The alternative route for vehicles is via Adam & Eve St; Grafton St; City Rd; John St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 2/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 1/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 2/9 & 3/9/25.

Swaynes Lane, Comberton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1501
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Swaynes Lane, Comberton as lies between Nos.63 & 78. The alternative route for vehicles is via South St; Barton Rd; Swaynes Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/3/27 whichever is the earlier. 
It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/9 & 5/9/25.

Derby Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1502
IIs to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Derby Road, Cambridge as lies between Nos.5 & 9. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate cable pulling, jointing, testing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/02/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 15/9/25.

High Street, Great Shelford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Temporary Revocation Of 7.5 Tonne Weight Limit – Order 2025-1503
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Great Shelford as lies between No.8 & Tunwells Lane. During the period this Order remains in force The County of Cambridgeshire (Woollards Lane. Great Shelford) (Weight Restriction) (Variation) 1994. 7.5 tonnes maximum gross vehicle weight limit is hereby suspended insofar as it affects Woollards Lane, Great Shelford. 
The alternative route for vehicles is via High St; Woollards Ln; A1301 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate repairs to war memorial & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 3/9/2025 & continue until these works have finished or on the 2/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 3/9 & 4/9/25.

Fanshawe Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1505
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fanshawe Road, Cambridge as lies between No.25 & Bancroft Close. The alternative route for vehicles is via Fanshawe Rd; Rustat Rd; Davy Rd; Coleridge Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new sewer connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 19/9/25.

Cantelupe Road, Haslingfield Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1507
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cantelupe Road, Haslingfield as lies between No.100 & Pinfold. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 15:00hrs on 1/9/25.

High Street, East Chesterton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1510
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, East Chesterton as lies between Church Street & Union Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1134; A1309; Green End Rd; Cambridge & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate a new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 6/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 5/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 6/9 & 14/9/25.

High Ditch Road, Fen Ditton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1513
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Ditch Road, Fen Ditton as lies between Fen Ditton Footpath 9 & Orchard House. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1303; B1047 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs 4/9/25.

Madingley Road A1303, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Bus Lane – Order 2025-1518
Will be to temporarily suspend the bus lane as lies between Moor Barn Farm Cottages & Rectory Farm Cottage. During the period this Order remains in force Cambridgeshire County Council (Various Streets, Cambridge) (Bus Lanes) Order 2024. Roads & parts of roads on which any vehicle other than a pedal cycle, electric scooter, bus, Hackney Carriage or private hire vehicle is prohibited between the hours of 7am & 7pm Mondays to Saturdays. 
Madingley Road: On its north side from a point 360 metres east of the centreline of Cambridge Road, Coton for a distance of 355 metres in an easterly direction is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate tree maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near the bus lane & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. 
This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Madingley Road, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 17:00hrs on 1/9/25. 

West Street, Over Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1522
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along West Street, Over as lies between Glover St & Unwins Ln. The alternative route for vehicles is via New Rd; Station Rd; Church End; High St; Willingham Rd; Mill Rd; Hilton St; King St; West St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate a new electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/3/27 whichever is the earlier. 
It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/9 & 26/9/25.

Newmarket Road A1134, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Bus Lane – Order 2025-1529
Will be to temporarily suspend the bus lane as lies between Nos.451 & 483; No.442 & Cambridge Footpath 12 respectively. During the period this Order remains in force Cambridgeshire County Council (Various Streets, Cambridge) (Bus Lanes) Order 2022. Schedule 1 Roads & parts of roads which any vehicle other than a pedal cycle, bus, hackney carriage or private hire vehicle is prohibited at all times on all days. Newmarket Road on its north side from a point 65 metres northeast of its junction with River Lane to a point 30 metres northeast of its junction with Garlic Row. Newmarket Road on its south side from a point 155 metres west of its junction with Ditton Walk to a point 50 metres northeast of its junction with River Lane is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical duct, cable installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near the bus lane & it will come into operation on 13/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/3/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Newmarket Road A1134, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 13/9 & 5/10/25.

Burleigh Place, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1536
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Burleigh Place, Cambridge as lies between rear of No.31 & Burleigh St. The alternative route for vehicles is via Crispin Pl; A603; Dover St; Adam & Eve St; Burleigh St or Burleigh St; A603; Crispin Pl. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate building demolition & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 22/12/25.

High Ditch Road & Low Fen Drove Way, Fen Ditton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1547
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Ditch Road & Low Fen Drove Way, Fen Ditton as lies between Hardwick House & Newmarket Road. 
The alternative route for vehicles is via High Ditch Road, Fen Ditton; B1047; A1303 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate bellmouth construction & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 7/9/25.

Long Lane & Silver Street, Willingham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1548
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Long Lane & Silver Street, Willingham as lies between Nos.50 & 2; Nos.2 & 15 respectively. The alternative route for vehicles is via Long Ln, Willingham; Newington; Rampton Rd; Rampton Ed; Green St; Church St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 29/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 29/9 & 3/10/25.

Footpath Between Wilford Furlong & Brickhills, Willingham Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1550
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Footpath Between Wilford Furlong & Brickhills, Willingham as lies between Nos. 56 & 52. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 3/9/25.

Footpath Off Appletrees, Bar Hill Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1554
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Footpath Off Appletrees, Bar Hill as lies between Nos. 25 & 30. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of stop tap & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 3/9/25.

High Street, Trumpington Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2025-1555
Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No.15 & junction with Long Road. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area G (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area G (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 22) Order 2000 Schedule 23: part 2 mandatory with flow cycle lane High Street, Trumpington on its east side from its junction with Long Road to a point 50 metres north of the centreline of Wingate is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 5/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 4/3/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on High Street, Trumpington are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out on 5/9/25.

Newton Road & Station Road, Harston Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1557
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Newton Road & Station Road, Harston as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via A10; B1368; Harston Rd; Newton & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 17/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 16/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23:00hrs 17/9 & 05:00hrs 19/9/25.

Station Road, Histon Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1569
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Histon as lies between High Street & New School Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via The Green; Glebe Wy, Impington; Water Ln; Water Ln, Histon; Station Rd, Impington; Station Rd, Histon & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate drainage maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/9 & 23/9/25.

Arbury Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1573
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Arbury Road, Cambridge as lies between No.108 & A1309. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1309; Kings Hedges Rd; Arbury Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate lining & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 10/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20:00hrs & 06:00hrs 10/9 to 12/9/25.

Trinity Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1593
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Trinity Street, Cambridge as lies between Rose Crescent & St Marys Street. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate heat pump duct laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/3/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 15/9 & 24/10/25.

Woodhouse Way, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 25-1607
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Woodhouse Way, Cambridge as lies between Nos.1 & 19. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate mobile crane movement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/3/27 whichever is the earlier. 
It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 18:00hrs on 15/9/25.

Granhams Road, Great Shelford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1619
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Granhams Road, Great Shelford as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1307; Hinton Wy; Station Rd; A1301 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/9 & 22/9/25.

Cherry Hinton Road C235, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2025-1437
Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Hills Road & Fulbourn Road. During the period this Order remains in force the Cherry Hinton Road on its south side from a point 76 metres west of its centreline of Clifton Road for a distance of 45 metres in a westerly direction; Cherry Hinton Road on its south side from a point 25 metres west of its centreline of Clifton Road for a distance of 32 metres in a westerly direction; Cherry Hinton Road on its south side from a point 18 metres east of the centreline of Clifton Road for a distance of 58 metres in an easterly direction; Cherry Hinton Road on its south side from the centreline of its junction with Mowbray Road & Perne Road for a distance of 73 metres in a westerly direction; Cherry Hinton Road on its north side from the centreline of its junction with Mowbray Road & Perne Road for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction, are hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway coring & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 1/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/2/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Cherry Hinton Road C235, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/9 & 6/9/25.
