Sutton Hill - Temporary Road Closure To Pole Replacement And Tree Cutting

Temporary Closure of Sutton Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Sutton Hill - from the junction with Coker Marsh, south-westwards for a total distance of 564 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement and tree cutting.
The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days.
