Temporary Closure of Stoke Trister Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stoke Trister Road - from 232 metres west of the junction with Lears Lane, north-westwards for a total distance of 13 metres.
This Order will enable Neom Engineering Ltd to carry out de-vegetation works and removal of silt build up within culvert structure on behalf of Somerset Council - Bridges and Structures.
The Order becomes effective on 11th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th September 2025 and last until 19th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
