What is happening?

NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(ALBERT ROAD, WELLINGBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Albert Road, Wellingborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Albert
Road, Wellingborough from the junction with Mill Road to outside no.160.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up
to 12 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Grant Road and Alexandra Road.

(SARRINGTON ROAD, CORBY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Sarrington Road, Corby as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Sarrington Road, Corby from outside no.22 and no.24.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
new water connection works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

to 3 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Studfall Avenue and Tanfields Grove.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(KETTERING ROAD & BRIDGE STREET, THRAPSTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Kettering Road and Bridge Street, Thrapston as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of
Kettering Road and Bridge Street, Thrapston from the junction of Nine Arches Way to the junction of Chapel Hill.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during traffic light refurbishment works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(A43 BROUGHTON BYPASS & A43 NORTHAMPTON ROAD, BROUGHTON)
(TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from exceeding 40 mph along those lengths of the A43 Broughton Bypass and A43 Northampton Road, Broughton as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of
the A43 Broughton Bypass and A43 Northampton Road, Broughton from 105 metres north of Mawsley roundabout to 895 metres south of Mawsley
roundabout.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
highway verge investigation and repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
