Various Roads, Arbroath - Multiple Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Orders

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 25 August 2025, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Angus Pride, Arbroath) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, so that a public procession
may take place. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles in or on High Street, John Street, Union Street East and Kings Drive, all Arbroath between the hours of 10am and 4pm on Saturday, 30 August 2025. The Order will be implemented on the basis of a “rolling” road closure along the route with “points” traffic control at various junctions along the route controlled by Police Officers in uniform, or appointed stewards, as necessary.
