Dungeon - Temporary Road Closure For Drainage Works

Temporary Closure of Dungeon
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Dungeon - from the junction with Cheddar Road, eastwards for a total distance of 234 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 11th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th September 2025 and last until 10th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 26 days.
