Stone Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Connection Works

Temporary Closure of Stone Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stone Lane - from 301 metres south-east of the junction with Lottisham Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 94 metres, and Stone Lane - from 273 metres north-west of the junction with Fosse Way, north-westwards for a distance of 48 metres. A total distance of 142 metres.
This Order will enable Bristol Water to carry out phased connection works (as and when signed on site).
The Order becomes effective on 11th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th September 2025 and last until 17th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
