Sports Centre Footbridge, Almondvale Park - Temporary Road Restriction And Traffic Regulation For Special Bridge Inspection
What is happening?
THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL (SPORTS CENTRE FOOTBRIDGE, ALMONDVALE PARK) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 - TTO/25/235
The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the footpath and footbridge at the Sports Centre, Footbridge, Almondvale Park on the dates & times noted in the Schedule below to facilitate special bridge inspection to be carried out. Pedestrians will be diverted as undernoted. Further information is available from the Roads Manager on 01506 280000.

SCHEDULE -
Footpath and Footbridge Closure - Sports Centre Footbridge, Almondvale Park, Livingston (Bridge at western side of Skate Park) 1) Entirety of Sports Centre Footbridge. 2) Northern riverside path closure adjacent to the north abutment of sports centre footbridge.
Diversion Route - 1) Diversion route for Footpath closure: Diversion sign to use another footbridge on River Almond, which is near Almondvale park and can access though Skate park (eastern side). 2) Diversion route for North side riverside path closure: Diversion sign to use another unnamed path adjacent to north abutment.
Dates & Times - From 0001 hours on 25 August 2025 to 2359 hours on 8 September 2025.
