Barrows Road - Temporary Road Closure To Fibre Cable Installation

Temporary Closure of Barrows Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Barrows Road - from the junction with The Hayes to the junction with Hopwoods Corner. A total distance of 73 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out fibre cable installation.
The Order becomes effective on 11th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th September 2025 and last until 18th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
