Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.51) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order:

To Revoke the No Waiting Mon–Sat 8am to 6.30pm on Farm Hill Road, Waltham Abbey from its junction with Sewardstone Road on both sides for approximately 50 metres and along Sewardstone Road on its East side in a Southerly direction to meet the Pedestrian crossing markings. Replacing the revoked restrictions with No Waiting at Any Time.

To introduce a 23m Bus Stop Clearway cage on the north side of Farm Hill Road approximately 15m from its junction with Sewardstone Road.

(Roding Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:

To temporarily close that length of Roding Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Valley Hill for a distance of approximately 15m in a south easterly direction.

To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
“The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 15th September 2025 for 28 nights (1700–0500), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2387447A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displaying of one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while safety works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Roding Road, Valley Hill, The Meadway, Southern Drive, Avondale Drive and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th August 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest & City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of a 40MPH Speed Restriction) (No. 1) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:

To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest and City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule.

To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest & City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Red Lion Crescent, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Hillside for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th September 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001W6GJ4K2D – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Red Lion Crescent, Red Lion Lane, Potters Field and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14th August 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Roding Road, Loughton)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Roding Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 80m south east of its junction with Alderton Hill for a distance of approximately 70m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th September 2025 for 3 nights (20:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (GY70239645542 – Transport for London). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge maintenance works are undertaken by Transport for London.
An alternative route is available via Roding Road, Alderton Hill, High Road, The Drive, Eleven Acre Rise, Willingale Lane, Oakwood Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14th August 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Threshers Bush, Matching)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Threshers Bush, Matching in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 580m south east of its junction with Green Lane for a distance of approximately 115m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th September 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001W6GGN94G – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Threshers Bush, Tilegate Road, Workers Road, Faggoters Lane, High Laver Road, Matching Road, Matching Tye Road, Harlow Road, Matching Green Road, Moor Hall Road, Sheering Road, Churchgate Street, Hobbs Cross Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th August 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
