Temporary Closure of Swans Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Swans Lane - from the junction with Sun Batch, south-eastwards for a total distance of 106 metres.
This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out new service connection.
The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
