TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 8/8/25, made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 52 Uttoxeter Town Parish from its junction with the access road to The Parks for approximately 22 metres in a south-easterly direction and then continuing for approximately 93 metres in a south-westerly direction to its junction with the alleyway leading to Fradgley Grove.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to housing development works.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of public footpath to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 15/8/24 and has been extended for a further period of six months, until 30/10/25 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.
