What is happening?

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(ST JOHNS ROAD, MOGGERHANGER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has
made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of St Johns Road, Moggerhanger from Bedford Road to number 2.
This temporary closure is required to enable bus stop improvement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 29 August to 15 September 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Park Road, Bedford Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 29 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sandon Close, Sandy from its junction with Newton Way for approximately 46 metres.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 29 August 2025 to 2 September 2025 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
The Order will come into operation on 29 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Arlesey Road, Stotfold outside number 17.
This temporary closure is required to enable manhole repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 26 August 2025 between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative route for this closure is via Arlesey Road, A507, Hitchin Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 26 August 2025 for a period of one month or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
