THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL Boothferry Road Roundabout, Hessle
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Boothferry Road Roundabout, Hessle.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed surfacing works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 September 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Boothferry Road, Humber Bridge Roundabout, Lowthorpe Way, Humber Field Roundabout, Road From Ferriby High Road To Humber Field Roundabout, A63 J A15 Join E, Clive Sullivan Way, A63 Through J A15 E, A63 From J A15 To J A1166 E, A63 Through J A1166 E, A63 J A1166 Leave E, Brighton Street, Hessle Road, Askew Avenue, First Lane Roundabout.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for the emergency services. The Order will commence on Sunday 7 September 2025 (between 8am and 7pm) for 4 consecutive Sundays (SUNDAYS ONLY) and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
