What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to exercise its powers conferred by Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended & of all other enabling powers, by the installation of a Puffin Crossing facility on the road as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

Establishment of Road Humps – Bewsey Road/Side Road Junctions – Traffic Calming Scheme 2025

Notice is hereby given that Warrington Borough Council intends, as part of its traffic calming proposals, to install traffic calming features, to regulate the speed of traffic under Section 90A to the Highways Act 1980, with the effects detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

Schedule – Traffic Calming Features

Regency Sq – From a point approx. 4m south west of its jct. with Bewsey Rd in a south westerly direction for approx. 7m – Full width, flat top road hump, 100mm high, 1:12 ramps; Gladstone St – From its jct. with Bewsey Rd in a south westerly direction for approx. 6m – Full width, flat top road hump, 100mm high, 1:10 ramps;

Walker St – From its jct. with Bewsey Rd in a south westerly direction for approx. 7m – Full width, flat top road hump, 100mm high, 1:10 ramps; Arthur St – From its jct. with Bewsey Rd in a south westerly direction for approx. 6m – Full width, flat top road hump, 100mm high, 1:10 ramps.
