What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

TILTON ROAD, TWYFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 18/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway surface repair works. The proposed diversion route will be via: B676, A47, A6003, A606, A607 & vice versa.

VARIOUS ROADS, MELTON DISTRICT

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway surface repair works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

Pasture Ln from Paske Ave Jct up to Pasture Ln North boundary, Pasture Lane North for its entire length – Gaddesby; Pasture Ln, Kirby Bellars from Pasture Ln North up to 100 metres approx. past the Cream Gorse Farm access; Harby Ln from Canal Ln Jct up to Long Ln boundary, Long Ln from Harby Ln boundary up to Penn Ln Jct – Stathern.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months to allow Bellway Homes & their contractors to undertake Public Right of Way diversionary works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 5 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Cadent Gas to undertake a utility installation.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME

Pate Rd, Melton Mowbray on the Electric Substation side of the road only – from the start of the boundaries of the substation to property No. 10 & from the end of the boundary to property No. 11 up to the access into ‘Revolution Kitchen’.

BACK STREET, SALTBY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow DSC Building & Civil Engineering Ltd to undertake a sewer connection installation. The proposed diversion route will be via: The Butts, Main St & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake highway drainage repair works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out service apparatus repair works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Saxelby Rd, Asfordby; A6006; Six Hills Ln, Perkins Ln, Main St, Saxelby Ln, From Saxelby Park Rd To Saxelby Rd, Grimston & vice versa.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake highway carriageway surface repair work. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 26/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 2 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT to undertake the installation of cable ducting. The proposed diversion route will be via: Woolsthorpe Ln, Harston; Main St, Cliff Rd, Woolsthorpe; Belvoir Rd, Harston Rd, Denton; Denton Ln, Harston & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 25/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 21 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 21 days to allow Cadent Gas to undertake pipe replacement works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Welland Rise, Thames Dr, Dalby Service Rd & vice versa.
