Ride The North (Letham & Brechin) - Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 25 August 2025, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Ride The North) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving of vehicles between 7am and 1.30pm on 03 August 2025, on (1) Mill of Inverarity (U310), (2) Letham Square (South side), Letham and (3) High Street, Brechin to facilitate the holding of a relevant event. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. Full details of the Order and alternative routes are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders. The maximum duration in terms of the act is 18 months.
