Brook Avenue, Temporary Footway Closure & Restrictions Due To Construction Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED) BROOK AVENUE (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE, WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025 The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give I notice that, to facilitate construction and associated works in Brook Avenue, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit: -

a) vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Brook Avenue, which lies between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 19 and 20 Brook Avenue and the north-western kerb-line of Wembley Park Drive;

b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the north-eastern footway of Brook Avenue, which lies between the south-eastern kerb-line of Matthews Close and a point 200.00 metres south-east of that kerb-line;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above will apply between 28th August 2025 and 28th February 2027 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Brook Avenue will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works. Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
