Jarveys Lane/ Lower Road - Temporary Road Closure The Replacement Of A Telegraph Pole
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
JARVEYS LANE/ LOWER ROAD, MACKWORTH
WHEN: 17 September to 18 September 2025.
WHERE: Jarveys Lane / Lower Road, Mackworth between its Jct. with Ashbourne Road and its Jct. with Gold Lane.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of a telegraph pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashbourne Road, Church Lane, Lower Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
