Sandringham Road - Temporary Road Closure For Installation Of A New Telecommunications Service
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SANDRINGHAM ROAD, SANDIACRE
WHEN:18 September 2025 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Sandringham Road, Sandiacre between the Jct. of Longmoor Lane and the Jct. of Kensington Road.
REASON: To facilitate installation of a new telecommunications service.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Longmoor Lane, Longmoor Road, Springfield Avenue, Sandringham Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re- open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
