Cholmondeley Road - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order Due To Come Into Operation
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
SALFORD CITY COUNCIL
(CHOLMONDELEY ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Cholmondeley Road, between the junctions of Graham Road and Winchester Road, Salford, M6 8PR. The Order is necessary for repairs to the water drainage system. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 22nd September 2025 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 6th October 2025.
The diversion routes are via Lancaster Road - Eccles Old Road - Claremont Road, vice versa. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be requested by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team via the email street.works@salford.gov.uk or the postal address below:
